A combination of Saturn turning retrograde in Aquarius on 11th May and Mars leaving just two days later, will not only see any urgency drop back this month but a need to make things happen. Until then, beginning the month with Saturn slowing down ahead of his retrograde turn and Mars fighting to make his final days here count, means you will have one foot on the brake and another on the gas. Yet just like a car needs both a brake and an accelerator it is learning how to manage the interplay between the two. This gives you a chance to push through what you can before Mars leaves, while knowing you can also afford to hold back where you can or where you need to. Meanwhile, it is Mars' return to your income sector on 13th May, just eight days after the North Node leaves your work sector on 5th May and just five days after a Full Moon in your career sector on 7th May that can energise things across the income, work and career fronts. While there will be no more planetary activity on the job front until Mercury returns on 29th May, the North Node will leave behind plenty of potential and momentum that will not only continue to play out but won't come to a head until a solar eclipse here later next month. In the meantime, if the income flow has slowed down or it just needs a boost, this will be Mars' mission from 13th May. Meanwhile, in the midst of a growing amount of planetary activity in a fun, playful, romantic and creatively charged part of your chart, Venus will turn retrograde here on 13th May, two weeks before Juno turns direct in an adventurous part of your chart. With the North Node returning to this playful part of your chart on 5th May, Mercury on 12th May and the Sun by 21st May, there is little chance of life becoming all work and no play. There are enough planets turning retrograde this month, including Pluto who turned retrograde in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart late last month and Jupiter who will turn retrograde here on 15th May, to see any urgency drop back.
Week beginning Monday 25th of May 2020
This is a week where having the right balance between work and play will be important from the get go and with a lot of stunning opportunities on both fronts, this is something you will want to achieve rather than feeling forced to. The week begins with the Moon in a playful part of your chart but it will leave and return to your work sector on Monday but it is what it leaves behind and returns to that will define the coming week. The playful, creative and romantically charged lunar vibes that wrap up on Monday were not the kind that comes around every four weeks, with the New Moon this created over the weekend starting something that has taken on a life of its own. This not only reaches out to include the spirit of adventure but the past, present and future. Yet the Moon returns to your work sector just days before new doors are due to open on the job front and as they are already starting to move on the income front. The key to having the right balance between work and play is first believing that you deserve to have it all.
Wednesday 27th of May 2020
Whether in its final hours in your work sector or its early hours in your relationship sector, this is an eventful day for the Moon and therefore an important day for listening to your intuition, instincts and imagination without over reacting to strong emotional responses. Before leaving your work sector the Moon will connect with planets that are highlighting new and growing options on the income and job fronts while bringing a reminder to pace yourself. In the meantime, the Moon's return to your relationship sector might push some buttons, as it stress tests a balance between your personal and relationship needs.
Aquarius is the eleventh zodiac sign, and the last of the clever and intellectual air signs. You are traditionally ruled by Saturn, and co-ruled by Uranus in modern day. Uranus is new, quirky and non-conformist. You like new, quirky and non-conformist, so it's a good fit.
The other planets are all named after Roman Gods, Uranus is named after a Greek one. The planets all orbit a certain uniform way, but not Uranus, because its axis of rotation is tilted sideways. All very unique, but then so are you!
You are the thinker and the humanitarian of our zodiac. You have an independent, eccentric, inventive and original spirit and usually no desire whatsoever to conform. You're happy to be different.
Your outlook is futuristic but, if Mercury is close to your Sun, you can be quite unchanging in your opinions. You have difficulty grasping the viewpoints of others, once you've made your mind up, like the other fixed signs, little can change it.
Yours is a fixed sign, change doesn't always come easy, so there's a dilemma. You're inventive, you want to discover new and different ways of doing things, but then you might find that you're not too keen to adapt and try them.
Aquarius rules over our wider associations and the groups that we belong to, and you're sure to belong to a group of a club. You're innately a team player, you feel energised and happy when you're part of the crowd. Some say that you're difficult to get close to, you're not inclined to discuss your feelings, although you're knowledgeable and happy to discuss everything and anything else.
You can be eccentric, idealistic and unpredictable, but as a friend or partner, you are friendly, faithful, unswerving and steadfast. You're not shallow in your affections but you don't wear your heart on your sleeve either. You love truly and deeply, you don't feel the need to voice sentiment often but you're generous to those you love and your gifts are often well chosen, if not inspired.
There are many professions you might enjoy, none of them are solitary. You prefer to work independently at whatever you do, you don't like to have anyone watching over your shoulder, but you do prefer to work as part of a team. You're probably popular among your co-workers.
Technology and computers belong to your sign, yet your symbol is a man pouring water from an Urn. Water is the source of life, and in older pictures, the man was often represented as an angel. Perhaps an Aquarian artist changed the angel to an old man, because you can be an angel and modest about it.
You get along best with the other air signs, Gemini and Libra, and also well with the fire signs, Aries, Leo and Sagittarius. Although the other planets in your horoscope will all have their say and mitigate how you express your Aquarius energy and who you get along well with.
