There is a good chance that you will catch your second wind this month and especially from 13th May. So much so that this could be the line in the sand that divides the month into two, with everything until then likely to move at a slower pace and everything from them becoming more energised. You can thank Mars for that with the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos still in a nostalgic and reflective part of your chart at the start of the month. When any planet moves through it is a time for reflection but because Mars is the planet that gives us our drive, energy and passion, this can take the wind out of your sails. This is also a stark contrast to the burst in drive, energy and passion you will experience when he returns on 13th May. Mars is returning nearly three months after your birthday month and new solar year began, making this both a second chance and a separate chapter. We are all starting to look at life beyond Covid 19 and what life on the other side might look like, now that we have a chance to push the 'reset' button. You have a much better chance than most of making this more than just wishful thinking or pipedreams. It also helps that the dwarf planet Ceres returned to Pisces late last month, with her first visit in four years a chance for a deeper dive into your real needs and priorities. Another incentive to embrace life on the other side will be an adventurous Full Moon on 7th May. Meanwhile, as is always the case the Sun will always spend the first three weeks of May in your communication sector before turning the solar spotlight onto your home and family situation and matters. Venus returned to your home and family sector early last month for what should have been a 24 day visit, but instead the planet of love and beauty will turn retrograde here on 13th May, something that will keep her here through to August. This puts more significance on the North Node's return here on 5th May and the South Node's return to your career sector, where until January 2022 they will police your work/life balance.
Week beginning Monday 25th of May 2020
Just to begin the week with Mars in Pisces is giving you an edge from the get go but even more so as he begins the week aligned with the dwarf planet Ceres. Mars has only been in Pisces for 12 days by then, with his passions, drive and competitive spirit looking for anything to channel into. Mars doesn't care what he is fighting for as long as he is fighting for something and this can lead to wasting this by picking the wrong battles or the wrong hill to die on. Ceres, on the other hand, has been in Pisces for a month by the time Mars caught up with her over the weekend, with her mission to update your needs and priorities well underway by then. This gives you a better sense of what you are fighting for and where to channel Mars' warrior spirit. This is something that will have a positive impact on every aspect of your life, with opportunities during the week to channel this into your romantic and creative passions but also across the income, work and career fronts.

Before leaving a playful part of your chart today, the Moon's friendly aspect to dreamy Neptune in Pisces will inspire your imagination in a way that happens once every four weeks. The Moon's mission to give your heart a voice can connect with Neptune's dreams to inspire wishful thinking, until doing it again four weeks later. The difference this time is that with Mars in Pisces, wishful thinking is no longer enough, with the planet of passion and the warrior planet of the cosmos seeing this as a call to action.
Pisces is the twelfth and ultimate sign of the zodiac. You might be last but you are certainly not least!
Pisces rules the feet and those feet carry the weight of the entire body! Sometimes you might feel like you're carrying the weight of the world too.
Yours is a mutable, fluid, water sign. The symbol for Pisces is two fish swimming in opposite directions. This could represent the way that your conscious and unconscious minds pull you in different directions, or your spiritual life versus your material life.
Perhaps those fish symbolise the way that your naturally compassionate and sympathetic nature takes on the burdens of others, even when it's to the detriment of your own direction and well-being.
Traditionally your ruling planet is Jupiter, named after the King of the Gods and renowned for his benevolence and joviality. You are benevolent by nature and you do love a good laugh!
Modern day astrology gives co-rulership of Pisces to the planet Neptune, named after the Roman God of the sea. It seems that Neptune's cloudy, nebulous, undefined energy is also a good fit for your poetic soul. We know fish belong in the sea!
Our oceans are mighty and powerful and we shouldn't downplay the powerful affect that you can have in the lives of others. As a friend or co-worker, you are the one who will willingly agree to shoulder the burden or go the extra mile. You can be completely selfless when it comes to helping others.
For this reason we find many of you in our hospitals and helping professions, although of course some of you have work that ties you to the sea or fishmongery. You're naturally adaptable, so you can adapt to most roles.
You're intuitive and highly impressionable, probably the most psychic of the water signs, so the feelings and moods of the people around you can affect you deeply, more deeply than perhaps you realise.
You could be likened to a big sponge, soaking up all kinds of moods, feelings and psychic debris while you rub shoulders with others during your everyday life, you may not be aware that this is happening. You need times of solitude to let go of this emotional clutter, to feel refreshed.
Sea air is the most wonderful balm for the troubled Pisces soul. Those of you who aren't lucky enough to live near the coast, should aim to visit often. Water is your element and it's totally cleansing. Long baths can be similarly healing, swimming too.
Your sign gets along best with the other water signs, Cancer and Scorpio, and with the earth signs, Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn, but then it's a rare Pisces who doesn't get along well with just about everyone!
The position of Jupiter and the other planets in your birth chart can mitigate how you express and experience your Pisces nature. If you'd like to know more about your horoscope, one of our astrologers will be happy to help.
